Firstly, Qatar Bank, which is owned by the Qatari royal family, would need to complete its acquisition of the English club. At present, the American Glazer family owns Manchester United and is considering offers.

Among the potential buyers is Qatari Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the chairman of QIB (Qatar Islamic Bank).
