Jake Paul accepts KSI fight after Nate Diaz arrest warrant for KOing Logan Paul lookalike

As his legal issue develops, Nate Diaz has instructed Jake Paul and KSI to just go ahead and box one another.

Following a physical fight last Friday that was seen on film, the New Orleans Police Department on Monday issued an arrest warrant for Diaz on suspicion of second-degree battery. Rodney Peterson was shown being choked by Diaz with a standing guillotine before being dumped to the ground.

On August 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, a boxing bout between Diaz (0-0) and Paul (6-1) is scheduled for eight rounds. The 185-pound weight limit will be used for the fight, which DAZN will promote with a live pay-per-view.

Diaz’s bout with Paul might be in peril because of his legal problems. Paul expressed gratitude for the gesture on social media to KSI, who will box Joe Fournier on May 13.

“Great. Paul tweeted to KSI, “I accept you as the backup opponent. The battle is at 185. No rehydration provisions are included. Maintain your fitness level, and we will call you if necessary. I appreciate your friend’s commitment and humility.

When Diaz noticed this, he retaliated by telling the two men to fight each other while he looked for a new opponent.

Nothing is official just yet, and it’s even unclear whether this legal dispute will ultimately preclude a fight between The Problem Child and the UFC star – but KSI is prepared to step in just in case. For his turn, Jake Paul acknowledged KSI as the stand-in adversary and responded,

“I accept you as the backup adversary. The battle is at 185. No rehydration provisions are included. Maintain your fitness level, and we will call you if necessary. I appreciate your friend’s commitment and humility.
