F1 and Tottenham Secure Historic 15-year Partnership

F1 and Tottenham have signed a 15-year partnership. Under the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, a karting circuit is in the works.

Later this year, the South Stand of the 63,000-seat cutting-edge stadium will open to electric karts. Upon finishing, it will be the longest indoor track in London.

Spurs will establish a driver academy programme. It will get accredited by the National Karting Association so that it may serve as a location for national championships.

F1 and Tottenham are reportedly planning educational programmes for local schools to build an interest in kids for motorsports. Moreover, drawing attention to potential careers in industries like engineering and software development.

To further encourage women and underrepresented groups to enter the motorsport sector. A local apprenticeship system and jobs programme are in the works.

Daniel Levy, chairman of the Spurs said, “Since building this stadium, our ambition has always been to see how far we can push the boundaries in delivering world-class experiences that will attract people from around the world all year round.

“We have been able to bring the biggest names in sport and entertainment to London N17.

“We are extremely excited about what this long-term partnership with F1 will bring for our global, national, and local communities.”
